Preparing for the Spring Planting Season

As the frost lifts from North Stonington, our crew begins preparing pastures and fencing for another season. Seventh-generation stewardship means careful timing — soil, weather, and the herd all set the calendar for spring.

Across our 700-acre farm, fencing lines are checked, paddocks are rotated, and the milking herd settles into warmer days. Visitors to the farm stand often notice the first green flush on the north pastures first.
